The Art of Living #
2020 / Lithuania / 2 min 27 s
An animation project created at Vilnius Academy of Art, as part of year 3 in the Graphic Design department. The project's task was to breathe life into a popular
painting. The painting chosen is Rene Magritte's "The Art of Living" (1967). Because the author of the painting was a surrealist, this approach is also taken in the animation. While at first glance it follows no logic, a cohesive story is
revealed, exploring themes of separation and unexpected returns.
