Elžbieta Poliakova is a Lithuanian animator and a graduate of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH). She works with CGI animation and explores how lighting shapes atmosphere and enhances visual storytelling.

Sabina Mamedova is junior 3D artist and a Master's student in Digital Graphics and Animation.

Jovilė Gečaitė is an artist and animator. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Computer Design at VILNIUS TECH and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Digital Graphics and Animation at the same university. She specializes in 2D traditional animation and 2D skeletal animation. Currently, she is researching 2D skeletal animation techniques for her master's thesis while producing a short animated film.

Anastasija Simaškaitė is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Animation at VILNIUS TECH. Throughout her journey in animation, she has explored many aspects of the medium, including screenwriting, storyboarding, CGI animation, 3D asset creation, and, most recently, traditional and digital 2D animation.

Dr. Tomas Mitkus is a lecturer at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), an animation practitioner, and the author of numerous textbooks and more than 30 academic publications on animation, film, comics, and communication. Alongside his academic work, he has over twenty years of experience in the creative industries. When he is not writing a new article or textbook, he works on animated television and feature film projects, or illustrates comic books.

Rokas Semėnas is a freelance technical artist and Associate Professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), specializing in 3D modelling and video game programming. Alongside his professional work, he mentors aspiring multimedia designers and junior technical artists, helping them take their first steps in 3D modelling, animation, and game development.

Since 2017, Akvilė has been working at Meinart Animation Studio as a producer, overseeing internationally recognized animated shorts, including The Perfect Fit—the first Lithuanian short acquired by Disney+. In 2023, she was executive producer on the animated feature Nelly Jelly: My Film. She is currently producing several short films, producing and animated series for adults "Hell Corporation" and developing her second feature, The House That Ran Away.

Animation plays a big part in Šarūnas life. He animates daily and watches festival programmes to learn new techniques or the subtleties of writing a compelling story. For 2 years, he led a team for an international doku-animated feature “Aurora's Sunrise”, which premiered at the Annecy festival. In 2022 - 2023, he was the lead animator on a feature animated film, “Nelly Jelly". Šarūnas wants to take advantage of this and create a strong, visually beautiful film with a story that will touch many.

Jokūbas Rimkus was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. After finishing Justinas Vienožinskis art school at the age of 16 he began experimenting with Blender, Krita, and Adobe Animate. He studied animation in the Filmunivesität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Germany, where he got to participate in multiple projects, learning to work in diverse and international teams as well as taking a role of a director, leading a team of talented artists and bringing the short-film “Stone Growth” to life.

Antanas Skučas is a film director and data artist teaching at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. His films have won "Silver Crane" awards, are broadcast on the ARTE television network, and tour international festivals. He is the founder of the film production company "Tylus kinas". He works with new media, XR, VR, AR, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Gustė Bidvaitė was introduced to art at the M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts. She is currently studying for a bachelor's degree in animation at Vilnius Academy of Arts. Through her works, without speaking with words, the animator seeks to convey emotionally deep themes and stories.

Sonata Vilkevičiūtė is a stop-motion animator who also works with various textile techniques. From a young age, she was interested in animation and doll-making. She attended Kaišiadorys Art School and later graduated from Kaunas Art Gymnasium with a specialization in textiles. For her final arts exam, she decided to explore animation and created her first stop-motion animated short film, In the Rhythm of a Clock.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animation at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA), works as an educator with the Animatest team, and occasionally collaborates with the animation studio Kadrų Skyrius.

Gertrūda Nemčauskaitė is a young and talented 2D and stop-motion animator who graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2020 and is now working on several projects, based both in Lithuania and abroad. Backstreet Birds is her first written and directed short.

Nil Atlı is a Turkish-Canadian animator based in Ottawa, Ontario. She graduated from Canterbury High School's Visual Arts Program before completing Sheridan College’s Bachelor of 2D Animation Program in 2026. Her work often explores personal views of the world through 2D animation, and she is strongly passionate about bringing stories to life, both in her own projects and as part of a collaborative team.

Éva is a Hungarian animator with a passion for stop-motion animation, handmade creative processes, and visual storytelling. She currently works part-time as a museum attendant and part-time as a freelance animator.

Julia is currently studying VFX and animation at the University of Television and Film in Munich. She has German-Finnish roots. Her fascination for visual storytelling and bringing original characters to life urged her to branch out into film in her late 20s, advancing her skills. Before this, she has worked in Marketing for several years.

Stanley Miller is an Illustration Animation Student from London studying at Kingston School of Art. There are around 331 known registered addresses in the UK with general weapons export licences to israel. This is what inspired the director to create his short movie Hind.

Abi Tucker is an experimental animator and image maker from London.

Johan Edström is a producer. He owns APPARAT Filmproduktion AB and is partner of THE CHAPEL FILMS AB. 
He has since 1977 worked as an animator, director and producer in Sweden, Europe, Japan, the United States and Canada. 
He has been a guest lecturer in Animation at SKH, Sörängen, Campus i12, Folkuniversitetet, North Park University, Den Danske Filmskole, and StopMotionLab.
Johan is a co-producer of Ida Melum's film Ovary-Acting (2025) and the main producer of Anna Mantzaris film PLEASE (2026).

Lovisa Andersson is a Swedish filmmaker who has spent the last 3 and 1/2 years studying Character Animation at The Animation Workshop. Doppelgänger is her directorial debut, being Lovisa and her teammate's graduation film. As a creator, Lovisa is very drawn to the internal lives and thought processes of people. To take private and personal emotions and force them to the surface.

Justė Beniušytė is a film producer passionate about handcrafted worlds. In 2019, she co-founded Kadrų Skyrius, Lithuania’s first and only stop-motion animation studio. As executive producer and studio manager, she leads the company and drives its creative vision.

Pablo F. Quarta is a narrative designer and game producer who specializes in the development of videogames with strong social, political, and cultural perspectives that draw from Latin American identity. They are part of the development team of the award-winning surrealist documentary game Atuel, and were one of the co-founders of Matajuegos, Argentina’s very first indie game workers’ co-op. Pablo has given talks on their work at international events such as GDC, IndieCade, and DIGRA. They are also an adjunct professor at Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires where they teach game and narrative design.

Simonas Grigalaitis has spent half his life making games – from mobile games to virtual reality and everything in between. He has enjoyed every step of the journey.

Yanush Nehel works in the fields of animation directing and animation. In 2025, graduated from the I. K. Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television.

Ukrainian film director and screenwriter. She is studying Film and Television Directing at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.
She has completed internships at several film production companies, gaining hands-on experience in film production.

Viktoria Filmako is an independent artist and animation director from Ukraine currently based in Switzerland. After working for several years in the field of architecture and cinema she felt the need to realize herself in the world of animation.

Sofia is a Ukrainian storyboard artist. She's experienced in a wide variety of 2D and 3D animated projects — TV series, commercials, short films, and feature films. Her greatest drive, both in professional and personal work, is a person-to-person connection created through visual storytelling.

Danylo is a Ukrainian media artist based in Potsdam, Germany. Trained as a sound engineer and film sound designer, he is also known among his peers for relentlessly learning and exploring adjacent media and techniques. Danylo does freelance gigs as a full-cycle sound guy and documentary cameraman, works at the media lab at Film University Babelsberg as a Unity XR programmer, and experiments with his own developments in the fields of hardware, software, and games.

Liisi Grünberg is an illustrator and animation director who has worked on animated short films and commercials. She directed the short films Miisufy (2023) and Summer in the Office (2025), and is currently developing a new film. Her work explores the relationship between humans, nature, and animals.

Ieva Lība Ratniece is an animation filmmaker from Riga, Latvia. In her personal creative practise, she is interested in experimentation, exploration of materiality and textures, abstract forms of storytelling and the act of embodied listening and seeing through unique marriage of image and sound. She has graduated with a Master’s degree from KASK (The Royal Academy of Fine Arts) in Ghent, Belgium with specialisation in Animation film in 2024 and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Art Academy of Latvia.

Dovydas Vilkelis is a 3D animation and VFX producer. After film management studies in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Dovydas turned to the field of video post-production. Since 2011, the producer has been heading studio Animatrix, working in advertising, gaming and film industries.
Studio is currently presenting a short film Stolen Colors and is working on Czech feature film Rosa & Dara.
Dovydas is also a board member of the Lithuanian Animation Association and the Baltic Film & Creative Tech cluster.

Gaute Hesthagen holds a BA from The Norwegian Film School's directing program. His work ranges from comedy in a car to visual epics in space, including episodic tv, short films Bokaj, Nostalgia and Danny's Magical Potion, screened at international festivals. Global campaigns include Mastercard, LEGO, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, IKEA, Schweppes, Tuborg and Vodafone. One of very few directors to have shot in zero gravity twice: for LEGO with NASA, and Mastercard's Guinness World Record football match.

Tomas Juchnevič is an animation director, CG artist, animator and rigger with over a decade of experience in the animation industry. He has worked on games, animated shorts, VR, TV commercials and LEGO animation projects. Passionate about character performance and storytelling, Tomas has developed his craft through workshops mentored by professionals from Pixar, DreamWorks, and Valve. At BLON, he presents Stolen Colors, where he served as co-director, animation director, rigger, animator.

Juho Maurinen is a filmmaker, visual artist, animator and musician from Helsinki Finland. He has deep roots in DIY culture and he’s been described as an “unstoppable genre bending creative force”. Maurinen believes in sincerity and personal intuition in all his work and he enjoys finding new ways of creating.

Matěj Podskalský is a Czech screenwriter, director, and editor. He studied at FAMU Prague and focuses on animated films. He wrote a script for animated short Red Shoes (Anna Podskalská, 2021), which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival (La Cinef). His short film Growth Project premiered at LIAF in London, was selected for ITFS Stuttgart (Trickstar Nature Award) and other festivals. He is now developing his animated feature film debut - Firebird - together with co-director Anna Podskalská.

Mažvydas Jastramskis holds a PhD in Political Science and has been pursuing empirical research into video games as a personal interest since childhood. Although he has not yet published his findings, he has accumulated a substantial body of data, focusing primarily on adventure and RPG games.

Qingxiao Li is an animation director and designer currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Having studied and worked in China, USA, and Europe (BE/PT/FI), she brings an international perspective to her practice in visual storytelling. Her academic background and professional experience in animation span a wide range of media, including TV series, short films, commercials, and VR experiences.

Siyi Chen is an indie Chinese screen composer and guzheng performer based in New York. She is known for her continuous exploration of the intersection between music technology and cross-cultural music communication. Siyi's dedication extends to over 100 compositions for films, games, interactive media, and commercial music. Her music scores have been recognized at prestigious events such as the Cannes, Sundance.

Herta Burbė studied at Kaunas Art Gymnasium and the Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts. She writes and creates illustrations for newspapers, magazines, books, and social media. Herta is also an author of books for children and young adults.

Menghui Huang is a Helsinki-based XR director and visual artist from China, with a background in New Media Art and VR animation. Her VR project The Big Cube premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and has since screened internationally. Beyond VR, she is an award-winning visual artist recognized by the World Illustration Awards and ADC Annual Awards. Her work explores imaginary worlds and seeks new ways to tell stories through color, shape, and immersive experience.

Isabelle Arvers is a French artist, curator, and researcher specializing in the decolonization of art and video games. For over 20 years she has explored the artistic and critical potential of digital games. Her recent projects combine game technologies, 3D scanning, indigenous knowledge, and oral traditions. She is currently developing digital ritual film projects in Benin and, with Lívia Diniz, leads the Beyond Green Games immersions, co-creating machinima films with local communities in different countries.

Iván McGill sees comics as a multidimensional medium, blending animation, video games, and illustration to explore digital identity, dataism, and information overload. His experimental comics capture evolving realities. Co-founder of Shaman Garage and part of the GRAF festival team, Iván is a fellow at the Càtedra Crec Finestres, Elisava, and a professor of Moving Narratives at U-TAD University. His work has been showcased in independent comics and transmedia festivals nationally and internationally through exhibitions, talks, and workshops.

Andrea Lucco Borlera is a writer and video game developer, and a multimedia studies teacher at an arts high school. He holds a degree in Cinema and Visual Arts and a Master of Arts in Game Design. In 2025, he released his first video game, HORSES, developed in collaboration with Santa Ragione.

Claudia Molinari is the founder, creative director and producer of the Italian studio We Are Muesli (WAM), with more than 12 years of experience creating internationally recognized arthouse game projects, including video games, escape rooms, and hybrid experiences. Apart from the recently released slice-of-life anthology "In Their Shoes" (2026), the WAM games she is fondest of are the studio's debut, art-fi visual novel "CAVE! CAVE! DEUS VIDET." (2013), and the Calvino-inspired live escape room "Ludmilla" (2023).

Milie Rime is an independent creator based in Belgium, working across comics, video games, and music.

Katharina Faller is a Multimedia Designer from Germany. She studied Multimedia and VR Design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle (Saale) and graduated in 2026 with her bachelor's project, Let me See the Sea. Her work focuses on exploring small everyday feelings, enhancing interpersonal moments, and telling stories through interaction and immersion.

Selime Sivgin, also known as Wanheda, is a Zurich based game designer creating experimental and art games that make hidden systems, power structures, and social dynamics visible through play.

Pietro Righi Riva is co-founder and studio director at Santa Ragione, where he directed several award-winning independent games including ‘MirrorMoon EP’, ‘FOTONICA’, ‘Wheels of Aurelia’, and ‘Saturnalia’. As a producer, he also helped bring other notable Santa Ragione titles to life, among them ‘Mediterranea Inferno’ and ‘HORSES’.

Matteo Pozzi is the founder, game and narrative designer of the Italian studio We Are Muesli (WAM), with more than 12 years of experience creating internationally recognized arthouse game projects, including video games, escape rooms, and hybrid experiences. Apart from the recently released slice-of-life anthology "In Their Shoes" (2026), the WAM games he is fondest of are the Resistance-themed short story collection "Venti Mesi" (2015), and the abstract local co-op "Siheyuan" (2023).

An indie game developer based in Czechia, he completed a Master's degree in Programming and is currently studying Game Design at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). Alongside his studies, he works in the games industry as a Level Designer and Game Designer. His creative practice focuses on atmospheric, immersive experiences and environmental storytelling.

Architect, exhibition designer, comics artist and game designer. For the last 10 years he has worked on alternative games such as Utility for the Soul and R00000. Currently works on a virtual exhibition/game "Vilnius Museum of Antiquities: A temple of the Past" which aims to bring the first public museum in Lithuania back to life.

Nathanaël is an indie developer and artist from Zurich, with a background in art history. He is interested in serious and applied games, and is dedicated to creating experiences that tackle complex and meaningful topics, particularly topics related to queerness, in creative ways. He is currently completing his Bachelor's degree in Game Design at ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts).

María is an Argentinian visual artist based in Berlin, whose practice is shaped by a lifelong engagement with art and storytelling. With a degree in Fine Arts (Painting) and a background in traditional 2D animation, she works across illustration, comics, animation, and self-publishing. She has led workshops, exhibited internationally, participated in residencies, and given talks at festivals and institutions. Community and collaboration are central to both her artistic practice and personal life

Michael Frei is a Swiss animation filmmaker and game designer. His award winning works Plug & Play (2015), Kids (2019), and Time Flies (2025) have been shown, among others, at the Berlinale, Ars Electronica, Pictoplasma and the Independent Games Festival. As co-founder of the production company Playables, he creates interdisciplinary works at the intersection of film, games, and installation.

Roberta is a digital artist and illustrator based in Lithuania, specializing in editorial illustration, frame-by-frame animation, and game development. Driven by a fascination with the subconscious, she creates surreal imagery that explores themes of anxiety, fear, and existentialism, translating complex emotions into compelling visual stories.

With over 10 years of experience working at a leading mobile game studio and creating numerous small projects, he decided it was time to make something special. Together with friends, he co-founded the game development studio Hollow Beak Games. The studio aims to create meaningful, atmospheric games that blend the spooky with the emotional.

Marie Janin is one of the directors and co-initiator of Sickhouse, a playful art space in Enschede, home of The Overkil festival. She focuses on playful arts and digital culture to explore the technological transformations of our society. Marie creates critical and engaging programs to support a reflection on our relation to technology with empathy and humor. In her work she is looking for diverse ways to meet, exchange and challenge game makers and players in the roles they take in the world.

Marko Tadić (b. 1979, Sisak) studied philosophy and sociology at the Faculty of Croatian Studies in Zagreb, and painting at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence, Italy, graduating in 2006. He is a visual artist working in the fields of drawing, collage, animation, and installation. His ideas are rooted in post-war utopian architecture and modernist urbanism, while the materials for his scenographic compositions come from old photographs found at flea market and drawings of unbuilt cities.

Ruth Lemmen has spent years building bridges between indie studios, institutions, funding bodies, and talent. From shaping international programs and juries to supporting small teams through complex decisions, she brings clarity where things often feel overwhelming. She works as a systemic coach, mediator and consultant for teams, companies and individuals and as a project and program manager, the later mostly with the indie game development scene.

Tommaso established an indie studio in 2021, working on small projects and helping out the local IGDA (International Game Developer Association) chapter to grow the local game community.
Since then many things have changed, he's still part of that same community, but he manages the Quickload Acceleration Program, is part co-chair of IGDA Italy and works as a producer for Poncle.

Deividas has been passionate about game development since childhood. He began designing game worlds on paper after his Nintendo broke. With over 10 years of experience working at a leading mobile game studio and creating numerous small projects, he decided it was time to make something special. Together with friends, he co-founded the game development studio Hollow Beak Games. The studio aims to create meaningful, atmospheric games that blend the spooky with the emotional.

Roberta is a digital artist and illustrator based in Lithuania, specializing in editorial illustration, frame-by-frame animation, and game development. Driven by a fascination with the subconscious, she creates surreal imagery that explores themes of anxiety, fear, and existentialism, translating complex emotions into compelling visual stories.
