Elžbieta Poliakova is a Lithuanian animator and a graduate of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH). She works with CGI animation and explores how lighting shapes atmosphere and enhances visual storytelling.
Anastasija Simaškaitė is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Animation at VILNIUS TECH. Throughout her journey in animation, she has explored many aspects of the medium, including screenwriting, storyboarding, CGI animation, 3D asset creation, and, most recently, traditional and digital 2D animation.
Kristina Buozyte is an internationally acclaimed film director, producer, and CEO of the audiovisual company Natrix Natrix. Her work is distinguished by pushing artistic boundaries through auteur cinema, science fiction, and immersive XR experiences. Her most notable works include the feature films Vesper (2022), Vanishing Waves (2012), and The Collectress (2008), which have received more than 30 international awards and reached audiences worldwide. Her directed and co-produced VR experience Trail of Angels became the most-visited virtual reality experience in Lithuania, while her latest project, Creation of the Worlds, was selected for the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in 2025.
Monika Masłoń is a visual artist and art educator whose work explores the intersection of experimental film, digital media, and sensory experience. She holds a Ph.D. from the Łódź Film School, and her works, including the VR experience Control Negative (DOK Leipzig 2022), have been presented internationally. She is currently developing the documentary installation Feeling Touched, exploring touch and human connection, and the multi-user VR experience Ocean, inspired by Stanisław Lem’s novel Solaris.
Dr. Tomas Mitkus is a lecturer at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), an animation practitioner, and the author of numerous textbooks and more than 30 academic publications on animation, film, comics, and communication. Alongside his academic work, he has over twenty years of experience in the creative industries. When he is not writing a new article or textbook, he works on animated television and feature film projects, or illustrates comic books.
Rokas Semėnas is a freelance technical artist and Associate Professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), specializing in 3D modelling and video game programming. Alongside his professional work, he mentors aspiring multimedia designers and junior technical artists, helping them take their first steps in 3D modelling, animation, and game development.
Ernestas Čepulionis is a lecturer and Head of the Multimedia Design Lab at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH). He specializes in the creation, management, and automation of computer vector graphics and motion graphics workflows in Adobe After Effects using scripts and mathematical functions. He also works with audiovisual projects, virtual production, and motion capture (MoCap) technologies.
Domantas Liubartas is a lecturer at VILNIUS TECH, where he teaches visualization and video projection. His interests include animation, audio and video projection technologies, and the creation of digital experiences. In his work, he combines technology, creativity, and experimental approaches, exploring new possibilities in audiovisual expression.
Lėja Linkaitė holds a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Computer Design. She is particularly interested in video mapping, visual projections, motion graphics, and interactive visual solutions. For her final project, she developed a multi-screen video wall system and explored ways to simplify the process of preparing content for it. She is fascinated by how technology can be used to create immersive and engaging visual experiences.

Tomas Juchnevič is an animation director, CG artist, animator and rigger with over a decade of experience in the animation industry. He has worked on games, animated shorts, VR, TV commercials and LEGO animation projects. Passionate about character performance and storytelling, Tomas has developed his craft through workshops mentored by professionals from Pixar, DreamWorks, and Valve. At BLON, he presents Stolen Colors, where he served as co-director, animation director, rigger, animator.
Gaute Hesthagen holds a BA from The Norwegian Film School's directing program. His work ranges from comedy in a car to visual epics in space, including episodic tv, short films Bokaj, Nostalgia and Danny's Magical Potion, screened at international festivals. Global campaigns include Mastercard, LEGO, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, IKEA, Schweppes, Tuborg and Vodafone. One of very few directors to have shot in zero gravity twice: for LEGO with NASA, and Mastercard's Guinness World Record football match.
Dovydas Vilkelis is a 3D animation and VFX producer. After film management studies in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Dovydas turned to the field of video post-production. Since 2011, the producer has been heading studio Animatrix, working in advertising, gaming and film industries. Studio is currently presenting a short film Stolen Colors and is working on Czech feature film Rosa & Dara. Dovydas is also a board member of the Lithuanian Animation Association and the Baltic Film & Creative Tech cluster.
Andrea Lucco Borlera is a writer and video game developer, and a multimedia studies teacher at an arts high school. He holds a degree in Cinema and Visual Arts and a Master of Arts in Game Design. In 2025, he released his first video game, HORSES, developed in collaboration with Santa Ragione.
Liisi Grünberg is an illustrator and animation director who has worked on animated short films and commercials. She directed the short films Miisufy (2023) and Summer in the Office (2025), and is currently developing a new film. Her work explores the relationship between humans, nature, and animals.
Jokūbas Rimkus was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. After finishing Justinas Vienožinskis art school at the age of 16 he began experimenting with Blender, Krita, and Adobe Animate. He studied animation in the Filmunivesität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Germany, where he got to participate in multiple projects, learning to work in diverse and international teams as well as taking a role of a director, leading a team of talented artists and bringing the short-film “Stone Growth” to life.
Claudia Molinari is the founder, creative director and producer of the Italian studio We Are Muesli (WAM), with more than 12 years of experience creating internationally recognized arthouse game projects, including video games, escape rooms, and hybrid experiences. Apart from the recently released slice-of-life anthology "In Their Shoes" (2026), the WAM games she is fondest of are the studio's debut, art-fi visual novel "CAVE! CAVE! DEUS VIDET." (2013), and the Calvino-inspired live escape room "Ludmilla" (2023).
Lovisa Andersson is a Swedish filmmaker who has spent the last 3 and 1/2 years studying Character Animation at The Animation Workshop. Doppelgänger is her directorial debut, being Lovisa and her teammate's graduation film. As a creator, Lovisa is very drawn to the internal lives and thought processes of people. To take private and personal emotions and force them to the surface.
Ieva Lība Ratniece is an animation filmmaker from Riga, Latvia. In her personal creative practise, she is interested in experimentation, exploration of materiality and textures, abstract forms of storytelling and the act of embodied listening and seeing through unique marriage of image and sound. She has graduated with a Master’s degree from KASK (The Royal Academy of Fine Arts) in Ghent, Belgium with specialisation in Animation film in 2024 and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Art Academy of Latvia.
Éva is a Hungarian animator with a passion for stop-motion animation, handmade creative processes, and visual storytelling. She currently works part-time as a museum attendant and part-time as a freelance animator.

Her fascination for visual storytelling and bringing original characters to life urged her to branch out into film in her late 20s, advancing her skills. His films have won "Silver Crane" awards, are broadcast on the ARTE television network, and tour international festivals. He is the founder of the film production company "Tylus kinas". He works with new media, XR, VR, AR, and artificial intelligence technologies.
Qingxiao Li is an animation director and designer currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Having studied and worked in China, USA, and Europe (BE/PT/FI), she brings an international perspective to her practice in visual storytelling. Her academic background and professional experience in animation span a wide range of media, including TV series, short films, commercials, and VR experiences.
Sonata Vilkevičiūtė is a stop-motion animator who also works with various textile techniques. From a young age, she was interested in animation and doll-making. She attended Kaišiadorys Art School and later graduated from Kaunas Art Gymnasium with a specialization in textiles. For her final arts exam, she decided to explore animation and created her first stop-motion animated short film, In the Rhythm of a Clock. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animation at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA), works as an educator with the Animatest team, and occasionally collaborates with the animation studio Kadrų Skyrius.
Matěj Podskalský is a Czech screenwriter, director, and editor. He studied at FAMU Prague and focuses on animated films. He wrote a script for animated short Red Shoes (Anna Podskalská, 2021), which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival (La Cinef). His short film Growth Project premiered at LIAF in London, was selected for ITFS Stuttgart (Trickstar Nature Award) and other festivals. He is now developing his animated feature film debut - Firebird - together with co-director Anna Podskalská.

Olha Cherpak was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2003. Her family moved to Poland when she was 12. There, she was accepted to Polish National Film School in Lodz in 2021. She loves documentaries and takes inspiration in real life and analogue techniques.
Since 2017, Akvilė has been working at Meinart Animation Studio as a producer, overseeing internationally recognized animated shorts, including The Perfect Fit—the first Lithuanian short acquired by Disney+. In 2023, she was executive producer on the animated feature Nelly Jelly: My Film. She is currently producing several short films, producing and animated series for adults "Hell Corporation" and developing her second feature, The House That Ran Away.
Johan Edström is a producer. He owns APPARAT Filmproduktion AB and is partner of THE CHAPEL FILMS AB. He has since 1977 worked as an animator, director and producer in Sweden, Europe, Japan, the United States and Canada. He has been a guest lecturer in Animation at SKH, Sörängen, Campus i12, Folkuniversitetet, North Park University, Den Danske Filmskole, and StopMotionLab. Johan is a co-producer of Ida Melum's film Ovary-Acting (2025) and the main producer of Anna Mantzaris film PLEASE (2026).

For 2 years, he led a team for an international doku-animated feature “Aurora's Sunrise”, which premiered at the Annecy festival. In 2022 - 2023, he was the lead animator on a feature animated film, “Nelly Jelly". Šarūnas wants to take advantage of this and create a strong, visually beautiful film with a story that will touch many.

Nil Atlı is a Turkish-Canadian animator based in Ottawa, Ontario. She graduated from Canterbury High School's Visual Arts Program before completing Sheridan College’s Bachelor of 2D Animation Program in 2026. Her work often explores personal views of the world through 2D animation, and she is strongly passionate about bringing stories to life, both in her own projects and as part of a collaborative team.
Menghui Huang is a Helsinki-based XR director and visual artist from China, with a background in New Media Art and VR animation. Her VR project The Big Cube premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and has since screened internationally. Beyond VR, she is an award-winning visual artist recognized by the World Illustration Awards and ADC Annual Awards. Her work explores imaginary worlds and seeks new ways to tell stories through color, shape, and immersive experience.
Petrit Gora is a Kosovo-born artist based in Uppsala, Sweden. He studied graphic design and photography before serving as Art Director of the Anibar festival for ten years, where he also helped found Kosovo’s sole animation academy. In 2022, Petrit became director of the REX Animation Festival in Stockholm, where he is currently driving its growth for its twelfth edition.

Pietro Righi Riva is co-founder and studio director at Santa Ragione, where he directed several award-winning independent games including ‘MirrorMoon EP’, ‘FOTONICA’, ‘Wheels of Aurelia’, and ‘Saturnalia’. She holds a Master's degree in Visual Game and Media Design from the Royal Danish Academy of Art and a Bachelor's degree in Design and Illustration from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Previously, she worked as a freelance illustrator, creating comics and illustrations for children's books and games. Her practice explores storytelling across visual art, games, and interactive media.

With over 10 years of experience working at a leading mobile game studio and creating numerous small projects, he decided it was time to make something special. Together with friends, he co-founded the game development studio Hollow Beak Games. The studio aims to create meaningful, atmospheric games that blend the spooky with the emotional.
Isabelle Arvers is a French artist, curator, and researcher specializing in the decolonization of art and video games. For over 20 years she has explored the artistic and critical potential of digital games. Her recent projects combine game technologies, 3D scanning, indigenous knowledge, and oral traditions. She is currently developing digital ritual film projects in Benin and, with Lívia Diniz, leads the Beyond Green Games immersions, co-creating machinima films with local communities in different countries.
Marko Tadić (b. 1979, Sisak) studied philosophy and sociology at the Faculty of Croatian Studies in Zagreb, and painting at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence, Italy, graduating in 2006. He is a visual artist working in the fields of drawing, collage, animation, and installation. His ideas are rooted in post-war utopian architecture and modernist urbanism, while the materials for his scenographic compositions come from old photographs found at flea market and drawings of unbuilt cities.
Marie Janin is one of the directors and co-initiator of Sickhouse, a playful art space in Enschede, home of The Overkil festival. She focuses on playful arts and digital culture to explore the technological transformations of our society. Marie creates critical and engaging programs to support a reflection on our relation to technology with empathy and humor. In her work she is looking for diverse ways to meet, exchange and challenge game makers and players in the roles they take in the world.
Pablo F. Quarta is a narrative designer and game producer who specializes in the development of videogames with strong social, political, and cultural perspectives that draw from Latin American identity. They are part of the development team of the award-winning surrealist documentary game Atuel, and were one of the co-founders of Matajuegos, Argentina’s very first indie game workers’ co-op. Pablo has given talks on their work at international events such as GDC, IndieCade, and DIGRA. They are also an adjunct professor at Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires where they teach game and narrative design.

A former student at La Fémis, Baptiste began his career at Prima Linea Productions (on The Most Precious of Cargoes by M. Hazanavicius) before launching Pentacle Productions in 2020. Then he launched the Pentacle Distribution label, through which he distributes about ten new short films each year. Pentacle Distribution currently represents around fifty titles, including the Cristal for Best Short Film at Annecy 2025. Baptiste is also acting as executive producer.
